You have probably read the Lae Lae book, My New Puppy, and learned about how I have to bath my doggie and brush her and many more things. But did you know that I have two other doggies? Their names are Sophia and Molly. I also have a tortoise named Shelly. I have to be very responsible when I take care of them all even though I get lots of help from my brother and mommy.
Do you have pets? Well, always remember to be responsible and feed them and take good care of them. Pets are not like toys where you can throw them away when you get bored of them. Always be responsible with your animals.
Instead of just taking care of my animals and loving them, I even celebrate their adoption day. Here is a recipe for dog cakes I created to celebrate my dog’s adoption day. Some things you will need: ·
One box of Milk Bone treats ( or any other hard, crumbly treat for dogs) ·
One box of doggie beef jerky.
A meat mallet or tenderizer ( have a grown-up find it for you) ·
A Ziploc bag ·
1 egg ·
1 big bowl ·
1 plate ·
1 cooking pan ·
foil ·
Spray Butter
Remember to always have a grown-up with you to help make these treats.
What to do:
Put six Milk Bone treats in the Ziploc bag and have a grown- up smash them with the meat mallet ( or tenderizer) into crumbs. Put they crumbs in the bowl and add the egg. Stir till mixed. Get 2 jerky treats and place them on the plate. Put a dollop of the mix on top of one jerky piece and put another jerky piece on top to make a sandwich. Keep doing this to make as many patties as you want. Have a grown up set your oven to 375 degrees let the patties cook for 10 minutes on the pan covered with foil and butter. When they have cooked remove them and let them cool.
Then it's time to sing happy adoption day (The Birthday song) to your doggies and let them enjoy!
There are many many other things in the world that you have to be responsible with like books, and school property. But, sadly I don’t have time to write all of the many things that you might be responsible for.
So, I must go. If you have any questions, remember you can ask me online. Remember to be responsible! Bye!
P.S. Here's a small clip of me when I was younger holding Liberty as a puppy. Hope it brings a smile to you.
