I had a few problems though. I just had one eye because of the wreck and, since I had been a street pup, I wasn't very house trained. But Momma fell in love and I became a part of her home. I wasn't a young puppy when she got me and now I'm really a senior dog but I am still my momma's baby. I am now losing sight in my "good" eye. I bump into things but I still love my walks and I have a lot of spunk. My favorite things are my squeaky toys and my favorite squeaky is the Santa Clause toy that I got for Christmas. When I am in the house there is nothing that I would rather do than sit or lay on the floor and hold on to my Santa Squeaky.
Momma was afraid that I was getting kind of lonely without a playmate, so she got me a companion from the shelter who is younger but still a "middle aged" gentleman. He and I play together and keep each other company. Momma thinks I'm not lonely anymore and she's right ... I have Nunzi and he and I are buddies.
I am writing today to speak up for all of the Little Old Babies out there in pet world. We might not be as spry as we once were and we might not be perfect but we are still full of love so please don't give up on us. We make nice "teddy bears" of love
